Tape Art!
The forlorn street may appear uninspiring to the common passerby, but to Aakash Nihalani, it’s his very own canvas. After creating waves in New York, Aakash’s multi-hued, geometric outlines explore the Indian cityscape through his first solo exhibition in India, Aalign. To be held at Seven Art Limited, Aalign will be presented through a series of photographic pieces showcasing his artistic tape installations composed across Delhi’s streets. The gallery will also be populated by carved sculptures, along with digital prints and audience-interactive works._
Aakash’s work will be on display at Seven Art Limited Gallery, New Delhi from 24th September – 22nd October 2011.
