International Short Films

The films being showcased span a range of sensibilities,– right from having electric story lines to interesting themes that leave you with tasteful discourse. The festival promises to be cinematically enthralling for everyone attending, so make sure you don’t miss this fun selection of short films..

Pigeon: Impossible, Directed by: Lucas Martell (USA/6 Mins) The animated tale of Walter, a rookie secret agent faced with a problem seldom covered in basic training – what to do when a curious pigeon gets trapped inside your multi-million dollar, government-issued nuclear briefcase?

Los planes de Cecilia , Directed by: Belen Gómez Sanz  (Spain/12 Mins) The day before her 30th birthday, Cecilia finds her childhood diary with all her old dreams for the thirties… but she realizes that she hasn’t got any of them. But she keeps her calm, because she realizes that she still has twenty-four hours to make them all come true and turn her life in a perfect one.

3X3,  Directed by: Nuno Rocha  (Portugal/5 Mins) A night watchman spends time on a basketball court throwing a ball into the basket. He has become an expert. He shows his abilities to a simple janitor, who also like him, is there all night.

Blank Spaces, Directed by: Rajneel Singh (New Zealand/6 Mins) Awarded Best Short Film at the 2011 Mind Blowing Indian Film Festival, the story revolves around a young hiker in New Zealand, who tries to claim the last blank space on the map for his own.
