Curated Design Store
Created to look like an art gallery, with an all white space, Filter, is a new design store located in Kalaghoda, Mumbai. The brainchild of Alok Nanda and Company, the store curates works of illustrators, photographers, graphic designers and product innovators.
‘It’s everything a design store ought to be, with the mundane conveniently sifted out.’ And their quirky ideas stay true to this philosophy. From the - Indian Stretchable Time Wristwatch to pocket-sized notebooks made from pages of recycled dictionaries, one-off framed posters of old London maps taken from vintage magazines, bookplates, postcards printed with quotes by Ogden Nash and Groucho Marx, and reading glasses by Berlin-based brand Mykita. The store is an aesthetic haven for anyone trying to steer clear of the regular kitsch and moving to something more organic._
